Apply For Cuban Passport

The Cuban passport is valid for 10 years for those over 16 years of age and 5 years for minors, requested by an authorized representative. It can be renewed up to 6 months before expiration at Cuban consulates abroad such as in the U.S., Mexico, Spain, or other countries with consular offices in Cuba.

1. WHAT WILL I NEED?

• Original expired passport and photocopy of the same.

• Signed consular form

• Two passport-type color photos, high resolution, with light background, front view, with face and head uncovered and without dark glasses.

•Present the previous passport, or the Birth Certificate, or the Resolution approving the application for the acquisition of Cuban citizenship, or the Letter of Citizenship or a certification of the latter document issued by the competent authority, as appropriate.
Photocopy of your consular card.

• Payment of the consular fee stipulated for this service, by means of bank transfer to the account of the consulate that corresponds to you.

• A self-addressed stamped envelope in order to have your passport sent back to you by registered mail.
